Beltraniella

Beltraniella Subram., Proc. Indian Acad. Sci., Sect. B 36: 227 (1952)

Index Fungorum number: IF7356;

Note: Beltraniella was established by Subramanian (1952) with B. odinae as the type species. Most species of Beltraniella are asexual morphs. The genus is currently accommodated with 31 species epithets (Species Fungorum 2022) from various hosts and habitats (i.e. fallen decomposing leaves, soil and submerged woods in freshwater) in tropical and subtropical regions of the world (Pirozynski 1963, Goh & Hyde 1996, Sakayaroj et al. 2005, Lin et al. 2017a, b, Hyde et al. 2020).

Species recorded from soil: Beltraniella fertilis (Yasanthika et al. 2020 )
